Beaucarnea Recurvata is part of Asparagaceae family that includes edible asparagus. It is native to Mexico and Texas. This plant has a lot of names - Nolina, Ponytail Palm, Elephant's foot, also known as is a distinctive looking houseplant with a swollen thick brown stem at its base that stores water. The long narrow curly, dark green leaves flow up from this base much like a plume of water in a fountain. This is a very slow-growing, long-lived plant.
Beaucarnea Recurvata is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright indirect light and medium watering. Water thoroughly on a regular basis. This plant thrives in low humidity.
