Calathea Medallion is part of Marantaceae family. The plant is native to the Tropical Americas. This plant has stunning patterns on top of the medallion shaped leaves, along with the deep burgundy underneath.
Calathea is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements medium light and medium watering. Keep the soil evenly moist all of the times, but never let soil get soggy. Use distilled, filtered or rainwater as Calatheas are sensitive to the chemicals in tap water.
