Citrus lemon

Citrus lemon is a species of small evergreen trees. It is a part of family Rutaceae, native to Asia, primarily Northeast India. Citrus lemon will thrive in bright light - 6 hours of good filtered sunlight a day would be perfect.

Lemon trees requires regular watering. If tree is starting to lose flowers, leaves or unripe fruit then the soil is too dry.  Don’t let the soil to dry out completely or sit in water, this plant doesn't like wet feet, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix. Loves well-ventilated space away from any central heating and cold drafts.

Fertilize every 3 weeks in growing season (spring, summer) and every 6 weeks in winter.

You’ll need to acclimate it slowly, if you decide to bring it indoors after summer being outdoors (vice versa).

!Please note that each plant is unique and variations of appearance may occur between each one.

Plant care:

  • Light: Happy at bright indirect light.

  • Temperature: 18°C – 20ºC; 5°C - 10°C at night.

  • Water: Allow the top 5cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Mist: regularly especially indoors in winter.

  • Humidity: Recommended humidity: 45 - 60%.

  • Soil: Well draining potting mix meant for citrus plants.
