Codiaeum variegatum Mrs Iceton

This plant thrives in bright light, requiring a minimum of 4 hours of direct sun each day. If Codiaeum doesn't get enough light the coloring of the leaves will decrease in next new leaves, eventually turning green. If so, the best method is to prune these leaves back and place the plant in a bright spot, to get back the beautiful coloring. 

Let the top 3 cm of the soil to dry out before next watering. It is fine to keep the soil little bit moist at all times. Prefers high humidity – mist often.  Don’t let Codiaeum to sit in water, must be kept in a well draining potting mix. The leaves will drop if the soil is too dry or too wet.

Be thoughtful with the placement, because the plant needs to be protected from cold and hot drafts.

Croton is a plant little bit on the fussy side, therefore it is better for plant keepers with experience.
