Crassula capitella Campfire (Crassula capitella Campfire, Crassula Flame) is an attractive succulent with thick fleshy prolonged leaves that turn from light green into brilliant shades of yellow, orange, and red in full sun. It is a plant with a sprawling habit, usually growing up to15 cm tall and 90 cm wide. Flowers are white or cream-colored and appear in clusters in summer and fall.
Family Crassulaceae. Native to South Africa.
Easy to care for plant, following its basic care requirements of bright indirect light or direct sunlight for a few hours a day.
Allow the soil to dry out completely before next watering. Less watering is required in winter. Water directly to the soil. Don’t let the plant to sit in water, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix.
