Ficus Elastica Robusta is part of Moraceae family. It is native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia. Ficus is a charming plant with deep emerald green glossy leaves. This tall indoor plant brings a tropical look and cleans the indoor air from pollutants.
Ficus is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright indirect to medium light and medium watering. The best way is to let the top 2-4 cm of the soil to dry out before next watering. It is fine to keep the soil little bit moist at all times. Don’t let ficus to sit in water, this plant doesn't like wet feet, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix. Avoid cold/hot draughts.
