Go to the shopFicus Elastica Tineke is part of Moraceae family. It is native to India and Indonesia. This plant has large, broad leaves in striking tones of cream, white and green, with shades of orange-red. The light has a direct effect on its variegation: the lack of light will cause the colors to turn green. This tall indoor plant brings a tropical look and cleans the indoor air from pollutants.
Ficus is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright, indirect/direct light. Keep the soil lightly moist at all times. Don’t let the plant to sit in water, overwatering will cause leaf drop. Plant must be kept in a well draining potting mix. Avoid cold draughts.
Please note that each plant is unique and variations of appearance may occur between each one.
