Go to the shopGaultheria mucronata is a compact, evergreen shrub grown for its glossy dark green leaves and attractive berries. In late spring and early summer single urn-shaped, white flowers are produced, followed by large pink or white berries. Like all Gaultheria, it is best to plant a male and female bush next to each other ("Mascula" is the male variety) together to ensure a good crop. This shrub prefers acidic soil. Fruit are ornamental - not to be eaten
