Hedera Helix Pittsburgh (English Ivy) is a evergreen climber with 5-lobed, green leaves. Hedera Helix Pittsburgh can be grown as a trailing plant, trained up or used as a groundcover.
Ivy is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of medium to low light conditions and medium watering. The key to normal watering is to allow the top 2-5 cm of potting soil to dry out between waterings. Don’t let the soil to dry out completely or sit in water, this plant doesn't like wet feet, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix.
It’s not a fussy plant, therefore is great for beginners.
!Please note that each plant is unique and variations of appearance may occur between each one.
Plant care:
Light: Happy at bright to medium light, but can live in lower light conditions.
Temperature: 10°C – 23 ºC.
Water: soil must partially dry out a little bit before next watering. Mist: occasionally.
Humidity: Recommended humidity: 40 - 60%.
Soil: Well draining potting mix (we recommend Potting mix from For My Plants).
Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer, during the growing season.
Toxicity: Ingestion may cause severe discomfort.
