Hoya gracilis also known as wax plant gracilis which has a stunning lush greenery: new leaves tend to be a lighter shade of green and gradually turn a darker green with white speckles. Can produce fragrant, star shaped red flowers. Hoya can be grown as a trailing plant, or trained up with a support. This plant is native to Asia and Australia.
Interestingly the stress of being root-bound encourages Hoya to bloom, so don't repot it often. Pruning its stems will make the plant bushier and encourage it to produce new flowers. It can bloom several times a year, so don't forget to fertilize it.
This Hoya is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright, indirect light and medium watering. Don’t let Hoya sit in water, this plant doesn't like wet feet, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix. Be careful with over-watering your Hoyas because they store the water in their leaves. Always allow the soil to partially dry before watering it again.
!Please note that each plant is unique and variations of appearance may occur between each one.
