Ctenanthe burle marxii Amagris is a part of the Marantaceae family. It is native to Brasil. This Ctenanthe variety is in color cool mint, with darker highlights and the undersides of the leaves are purple. It's slow growing plant (reaching an ultimate height of around 30cm) that closes leaves upwards at night like Calatheas and Maranthas.
Ctenanthe is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright indirect to medium light and medium watering. Keep the soil evenly moist all of the times, but never let soil get soggy. Marantas are highly sensitive to lime in water.
