Olea europaea is part of olive family. It is native to Africa and temperate Asia as well as southern Europe. Most often, this plant is associated growing in countries next to Mediterranean sea.
Olive tree is easy to care for, following its care requirements of bright direct light, if it is grown indoors then it will love fresh air time to time. In the warm season if possible move it outdoors.
Indoors olive tree will love consistent medium watering. The best way is to let the top of the soil to dry out before next watering. This plant is drought-resistant so be careful with overwatering.
Moving your plant:

At the beginning direct sunlight can burn the tree's leaves if it's not given an adjustment period. And the same rule goes for bringing it back indoors.
