Peperomia prostrata (String of Turtles) is is an adorable, tiny plant native to Brazilian rainforests. This trailing plant has charmed plant lovers worldwide.
This unique adapts well to average indoor conditions, making it a popular addition to houseplant collections. With its small, round, turtle-like leaves, the String of Turtles adds a touch of charm to any indoor space.
It’s also a slow-growing plant, which makes it perfect for terrariums or hanging baskets.
Peperonia is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements of bright indirect and regular misting. The best way is to let the top 2-4 cm of the soil to dry out before next watering. Don’t let Peperomia to sit in water, this plant doesn't like wet feet, so must be kept in a well draining potting mix.

Plant care:
Light: Happy at bright indirect light. Make sure light reaches all areas of the plant for a good growth.
Temperature: 18°C - 24ºC.
Water: let the top 2-4 cm of the soil to dry out before next watering. Mist: regularly.
Humidity: Recommended humidity: min 40%.
Soil: Well draining potting mix (we recommend Potting mix from For My Plants) or another peat soil with a slightly low pH.
Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer, biweekly in spring and summer. Don't fertilize in winter.
Toxicity: Not toxic.
