DESCRIPTION

Vriesea Intenso Flame Orange Flame is part of Bromeliaceae family. The plant is native to Central America and the Caribbean Antilles. It is an epiphyte in its native habitat.

Bromeliad blooms can last from 3-6 months. Cut back blooms after they are done so the plant can focus its energy on new growth.

Guzmania is easy to care for, following its basic care requirements filtered light and medium watering. Keep the soil evenly moist at spring and summer time (never let soil get soggy), let the top 3-5cm of the soil to dry before next watering at winter time. This plant likes if you water it from the top, it is okay if the water collects in the rosette, but it needs to be changed regularly to avoid rot.
